anxiety attack early in the wedding planning?

I JUST asked a question about happy wedding planning and I was thinking about the wedding (9 months away) and I just got really lightheaded and now I feel like I’m going to vomit. Is this normal this early on and how do I deal with it?

    Maybe you should speak to a doctor about this. I wouldn’t say it’s normal. I’ve certainly never had an anxiety attack thinking about my upcoming wedding. A doctor could give you advice on how to calm down and relax when you feel overwhelmed.

    hun, breathe.

    i’ve got a panic disorder, and i’ve had several bouts of anxiety during my wedding planning. it’s nothing to worry about. just breathe deep, and do whatever you need to do to calm down.

    the initial anxiety of getting engaged will pass soon. you may get overwhelmed with planning, so make sure you enlist help as soon as you can.

    this is not normal, your seriously going over the top and I would say at this point (so early on) outlook not so good….Id almost suggest putting the whole thing away until your mind has had time to adjust to the idea alone before beginning to plan the wedding

    Gosh that’s no good. You obviously deal with anxiety issues in your daily life. I would suggest seing a doctor to help reduce anxiety because you don’t want to vomit when your walking down the aisle to marry your future husband.

    Good luck and don’t worry so much, everything will be just fine.
