  1. There may be one for free but I don’t know about it.

Stratford Career Institute offers a Wedding Consultant degree you can get online/home.

  2. You can easily compare info about these schools in this site – colleges.mywebcommunity.org

  3. GOOD QUESTION! I doubt there is though. I have been considering The International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas, NV. There is an online program but I bet you won’t benefit as much if you actually went to class. They have a payment plan too and online is cheaper. Upon graduation your certificate will have the UNLV logo (University of Nevada Las Vegas) as TISOH is founded by 2 professors of UNLV I believe..something like that. Check them out, I’ve been to the campus and may be enrolling once I finish my bachelors..as a backup plan.

  4. The best way to learn is probably on the job. No one is going to hire you of course without experience. You may be able to get some experience helping someone you know plan a wedding but will have to do it very cheaply if not for free. The best recommendation I can give you is to see if you can apprentice yourself to an experienced planner. They can teach you the ins and outs and stuff that no one will tell you in a classroom and stuff that would take you years to learn on your own.

    Good luck!
