MY FRIEND and his girl been together for a little over 2 years.HE wants to engage her on valentines day(i have afeeling she knows)just them alone but he wants to meke it public (meaning her family and his family)on sunday at the church they go to.HEplans on having the wedding by the end of september if evrything goes well now since theircon a budget is it all right if they have a small get together after the service at church the same day they get engage.Iheard that an engagement is not soppose to be until a month or two after the engagement but thier just having a small get together he is asking me for opinions but i am not .Any help,comments or ideas please.

Hey guys! My boyfriend and I have been together for three years and we’re extremely happy together. We are engaged and our wedding is planned for the Summer of 2014. I am 17 nearly 18, and he’s nearly 19. Soon this year we’re getting our own apartment, my uncle owns a whole band of them so we will be getting it dirt cheap considering it looks over the Thames in London. We are not just partners but best friends, I love him with all my heart. You bet, we have been through a lot of crap together and if we didn’t fall apart after that then I don’t know what could break us. I would put my life on it that our future is basically guaranteed, we are perfect together. We both earn, my boyfriend works in a superb place for his age and his wage is way over average for his age also. Financial issues don’t concern us, and once we live together that will be the final hurdle. Yes, I do realise that we’d have to pay numerous bills, including everything we need to survive and food bills.. We’d be able to do everything we’d need to with ease. Anyway I am desperate for a baby, and always have been from the age of about 13! My boyfriend always says he would love one, but then says he wants to wait a couple of years, UNTIL the next time we see a newborn out and about, or a family member comes over with their baby. He has said so many times that he would love to be a dad now, but I know for a fact he just needs the courage to go ahead and do it. He tells me all the time that having a child of our own would just ‘make us’ and I totally agree. He knows that having babies aren’t always a bad things especially if your in a healthy happy relationship. I just think I need to give him the courage to go ahead and try for one. I don’t want any lectures about how young we are, and how much work babies are. Being brought up in the same house around 9 siblings and me being the 4th oldest, I do understand exactly how babies work, and that they’re not just there for a week or so. So if you feel the need to give me answers that I don’t want then please move on! All I want to know is if anyone has been in a similar situation, and if there’s anything I can say to just give my boyfriend the encouragement for us to do it. Okay so my fiance and I when I first proposed I didn’t have a ton of money to spend on a ring so I knew she’d understand so I bought the best ring I could afford however it was not actually an engagement ring we just used it as such so story aside how do I find or where do I find an engagement ring for her that comes with a matching wedding band? and where do I find my wedding band that would match hers? any ideas please let me know

Super quick background – planning my wedding in cancun, got a quote for fees…then realised fiance would want info in spanish as he can read it more quickly. Then i took a look, and realised the quotes in dollars are much more expensive. the basic wedding ceremony set up is 350 dollars more expensive when the price is quoted in dollars rather than in pesos
My fiance said that sometimes in mexico if they quote prices in dollars – they use a 10 pesos to 1 dollar conversion rate (rather than the 13 or so that its valued at now) and that could explain the price difference. is that standard? is that the real reason or is it like a “foreigner tax”
the websites were in english so i just dashed off my emails in english…but if asking for pesos/writing in spanish gets me a cheaper rate then ill have to do that – we’re living in monterrey on mexican salaries so if for everything there is a markup…itll make a difference
