Came to new York
There are many great old plantaton houses that have become inns in Louisiana. Check some of them out. If they aren’t in the budget to stay thre you could stay somewhere close and visit them as they also have tours at them. The plantations are spacious and quite since they aren’t on the main road. Some don’t even have t.v.’s in the rooms.
i would go with one of the hundreds of great bed and breakfasts you can find there. you get real value for your money and can stay in a place that is both romantic and has access to fun stuff to do in the local surrounding areas.
