But does it always have to come from working for someone? Im a AP Professional with the desire to break free from the office. Im ready to explore something more exciting that I will love. Im in the Phila. Area and wanted to know if anyone had any ideas of a career change that will not hurt my wallet in the process. But will be sucessful in the future. Oh, I also have a crazy idea of becoming a wedding planner…i dont know lol. Any ideas are welcomed…thx
okay. im 12 years old, for starters, so keep in mind that my parents also have to agree to my plans.
anyway, i live in a somewhat jewish area, and bat/bar mitzvahs are common. the invites usually get sent out 2 months in advance, sort of like a wedding. most of the mitzvahs i go to are for aqcuantances, or people i have a few classes with. but this week is for one of my really close friends. weve never actually ‘hung out’, but we did share a cabin on the 3-day school trip and i would love to get to know her better. plus, we have some mutual friends that are going to be there that i havent seen in a loooong time, so that would be great to.
now to the sticky part.
last week, our really close family friends from england came back to our area to visit. (we havent seen them for 5 years) just earlier today we had a quick visit with them for like an hour when they told us they were trhowing a surprise party for their dad and were inviting us and another couple. its the same night as the bat mitzvah. its not the only time icould see them, though;there here till the sixteenth. it just seems fun. so im really torn as to go with my newer friend and see my close friend the next week, or spend more time with my close friend and just tell the other girl we can go see a movie or something?
thank you so much in advance!

How To Ask My Bride About Hen’s?
Tagged Under : About, bride, Hens
I’m her only bridesmaid cousin. Last time when she asked me to be her bridesmaid, she like the idea of a weekend getaway and/or spa pampering package for her Hen’s and no male strippers.
How do i go about asking her if she would like her friends to celebrate her Hen’s and if she could give a list of emails or contacts so that i could organise a hen’s for her.
Or can just be two of us only. I don’t know any her friends, most might’ve already married.
Thanks.
Everybody say if Charles don’t like Diana. But I think Charles choose Diana than lady Sarah as his bride. And why Charles wait so long for married with Camilla when 2005 since divorce at 1995?
I’ve been engaged for about two months. My parents don’t approve of my engagement, but never really told me why. I have very over protective parents and I have a very “people pleaser” personality, and I always try extremely hard to please my parents. They were very angry when I told them I was engaged, and they haven’t brought it up since. They just are acting like I am not engaged.
I graduated college recently and am working full time. I don’t expect my parents to pay for any part of my wedding. My fiance is getting deployed soon, and we were originally thinking about getting married the summer after he gets back. I’ve been dreaming about marrying him for a long time, and now that the time is here to plan and look for a dress and all that fun stuff…I just don’t even want to because my parents made me feel so terrible about wanting to get married. My fiance and I were talking about just getting married at a court house before he leaves and maybe having a ceremony when he gets back. (I say maybe because he wants a ceremony and I’m to the point where the stress of not wanting to displease my parents is not worth having a wedding ceremony).
I want to enjoy this time in my life, because it’s the only time it’s ever going to happen, but I can’t overcome the guilt about displeasing my parents. Help?
Should I Say Something To Him About This?
Tagged Under : About, should, Something, This
So, this guy used to like me, but I didn’t like him back. We’re really compatible and we got along great, except when it came to my taste in music. I like Black Veil Brides and Fall Out Boy (among others) but he HATES them. So we had this huge argument and he called out emo kids and called them ******* and I defended them because I’m kinda emo. Now we’re not talking to each other, and he told my friend that he won’t talk to me until I’m back to “normal” and I’m not emo anymore. He also said I’m freaking him out because I’m coloring my hair black and I wear band tees. But I don’t think its a phase like he says. Should I say something to him? I hate being like this with people.
So i have asked the question about adding that you prefer cash on your wedding invitiations and of course everyone on yahoo answers said that it is rude and against wedding etiquette to mention it on the invitation. well yesterday i posted the same question on FACEBOOK to all my friends and family who will be attending the wedding/reception. i had about ten answers and they all said it is NOT rude to ask for cash on the wedding invites. so now that i know my guests will not be offended i am definately putting cash preferred on the invitations in better wording of course. so now for my question. WHERE DID THIS IDEA THAT ASKING FOR MONEY ON YOUR WEDDING INVITATIONS IS AGAINST WEDDING ETIQUETTE COME FROM? WHERE DID IT ORIGINATE AND WHO MADE IT UP?
I just got engaged 1 month ago and am so incredibly happy! My entire family witnessed our engagement and my parents planned & paid for a one week Vegas vacation for both my fiance and I to celebrate. My entire family loves my fiance and are super involved with wedding plans already!
This is all great, but I can’t help but feel sad that my future in-laws have not even acknowledged our engagement. My fiance texted them the night it happened and they responded saying “congrats” but that is all that they have said regarding the issue. I asked my fiance if his parents had said anything at all about our engagement/ wedding to him since and he said that they had not brought it up… in fact, he said that he tried to talk to his dad about it and his dad changed the subject (as if he did not care!). My fiance is hurt by his parents lack of interest in our engagement/ wedding, and now i’m beginning to feel bad too.
So I’m wondering if i should take the initiative and call my future in-laws? I don’t want to make them uncomfortable, but it hurts that they have no interest and its awkward knowing that i havent even spoken to them since getting engaged… i mean, they are going to be my inlaws. Also, i feel I should add that my relationship with my fiances parents isn’t bad, and i’m pretty sure that they don’t dislike me… so i don’t think thats an issue.
Has anybody experienced anything similar?
Dream About Wedding And Money?

I had a dream that My moms bestfriend was having her platinum wedding, and I was very involved helping. A day after the wedding i was exhausted and was like ok I have to go home now, but her daughter got engaged that day and to me to be aware for a phone call because i had to plan her wedding. She said she wanted my dream wedding. I remember being very stressed out,I never answered, but I was going to prepare it. (My mom passed away when I was 12, ten years ago and I did attend her friends platinum wedding a year ago)
3 days later i had a dream that i found spare change mostly pennies I decided to put them in a slot machine and I made about $50.00 so I went on another one and made more. I then quit and kept finding money everywhere.
