I’ve written a book, and want to get it published, but 1) don’t have a title 2) have no idea what to call it and 3) don’t know if I should use an already suggested name, “the Butler” (because I don’t like it much…)
The story is, in basic words, this:
About a VERY successful (and rich) woman (an author/actress) named Emily Walters, and her butler, Sean Carter. Emily knew Sean when she was 11/12/13 years old, but she forgot about him when she finally though that it was time to let go of the love she had for him and stop trying to dwell on the past, and stop being dependent on Sean. Sean, however, was not as successful, and was a complete failure when his wife, Sasha, died shortly after Emily left. 7 years later, he’d been working for Emily for 2 years, and he was looking after her, and secretly, although he was denying it to himself, loved her.
Eventually, Sean says that she’s beautiful, and so she gets angry because Sean’s her butler, nothing else, and she tells him to get out of her sight, of which he does, and he goes into his room, but forgets to lock the door, and he turns on his computer and looks at the pictures he has of Emily when she was growing up. Emily then comes in and thinks he’s a stalker and fires him, even though she knows she can’t take care of herself properly (hence why she has a butler in the first place). Sean leaves, but as he does he calls her “Emmy”, his unique name for her.
Emily realizes her mistake and tries to get Sean back, but is very unsuccessful at this. She calls him one day, after being without him for a month, and he answers. Eventually Emily passes out due to nutrition deficiency from not eating properly for a month, and Sean hears the thud of her body and rushes over, almost getting arrested in the process, but escapes with a 1200 odd dollar fine, because he was trying to save a life, not be an idiot and drive 6 times over the legal speed limit just for fun. He spends a whole month in hospital with Emily, who hasn’t woken up, and cries when he thinks she’s going to die, but she wakes up.
After that Emily’s in hospital for 3 more months, and then there’s an interview about what happened, because Emily hadn’t been out of her home for the whole time Sean wasn’t with her.
six months later (or there abouts) the two are a couple and there have been unconfirmed rumours about Sean going to marry Emily, but they’re true (although it’s completely unknown to Emily). Sean proposes to Emily by taking her out for the best day of her life, and gives her a coconut at the end of the day, when they’re watching the sunset. It’s a fake. Emily opens it and sees a ring box in it. Then Sean asks if she’ll marry him, and she says yes.
After, there’s the wedding, and then the honeymoon. A month later, Emily finds out she’s pregnant and then the Epilogue goes on from there.
Please help! Any title ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!
