need 3 MAJOR points on how to plan a small budgeted wedding!

Here are the details. There will be at least 100 people attending. wedding & reception is My future brother in-laws house in NY in the valley of the mountains near Corning. It will be in the early fall. We want to make our own foods we will also have family help with food.. and we are doing our own flowers of Dahlias and Zinnias. and we are making our own cake. We would like to provide alcohol.
bridesmaids and groomsmen will be purchasing or renting their own attire. I will be purchasing a gown that is close to $800 dollars and the groom will be renting his tux. I know I’ll have to rent alot of stuff though so any suggestions???

I’m throwing a Bridal shower for my sister but unfortunately my hubby was recently laid off from his job and most of her other bride maids are young girls who are students and don’t have jobs. So we’re trying to come up with creative ways to raise money and find a beautiful place to throw the shower that is elegant but also freindly to young girls who will be attending (youngest us 8yrs old).

Hi my wedding is in exactly 1 month and 17 days. 1st off let it be known that eloping was our 1st choice but our mothers and my grandpa are very important to us and would be very upset lol So we had 6 months to plan cake,invites & half of my wedding dress have been paid for by others thank god. The way i see it the 3 most important things are food, music & alcohol so those are the things i have spent our money on. 200 guests (predicted) to attend i believe i have the necessities taken care like vendors/services i’ve also been going to a lot of yard sales and have saved A lot of money on vases and i’ve been putting my printer to use printing out table #’s on construction paper i don’t know how to make them stand up right on the table. i feel like its just the little things favors decor etc… its the etc… i don’t like because i don’t know what else there is lol like how can i make the head table look like a million bucks with only like $200 my colors are fuchsia & black hanging things from ceiling not an option help! i have Absolutely no idea what i’m doing hiring vendors was easy its making the big day look like an actual wedding that’s freaking me out. Sorry this is a lot of words and kind of all over the place any help would be appreciated thanks.

Okay, so I’m buying the Canon 60D and I am trying to keep my preliminary budget under 1500 dollars. So I will probably get the 60D kit (with the 18-135 kit lens kit) unless anyone has a better idea (for the body only its around $1000. After that I will slowly acquire better lenses. So I guess my question is- Once I get my camera and first lens (feel free to make suggestions on that too), what lenses and in what order should I get them? I enjoy portrait photography and also outdoor photography, but I’m mainly looking to beef up my gear so that I can get into budget wedding photography. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

The venue, dress, and cake are taken care of. I’m undecided on if I want a catered dinner $40/plate or if I want a buffet dinner. I don’t want a lot of flowers, just the basics. Any ideas on how to reduce the cost? …. I live in central California, and my bridal party is four woman, four men, and 2 children.

The wedding will be very small and I am completely open minded about unconventional and cheep. If you could tell me what you spent, thrifty ideas, and/or what you think I should expect that would help.
