So my Aunt’s husbands niece is getting married in July. We used to be really close when we were younger. Then I didn’t see her for a couple of years. Then I ended up going to her birthday party like two years ago and she was a complete royal ***** to me because her boyfriend was there and she felt like showing off. Her mom was literally crying about how awful her daughter was acting. Anyways come to find out she was pregnant then and she didn’t know it. Long story short she gave the baby up for adoption and her and the boyfriend broke up. I haven’t talked to her since my aunt was having her baby back in July and it was just a simple “hi how are you?” and whatnot. Yesterday she sent me a friend request on facebook and is now planning on getting married to this guy she met over a chat phone line this coming up July. She wants me to be her bridesmaid. I haven’t talked to her since forever and don’t want to go to her wedding. I didn’t even go to her graduation. Should I just make up an excuse or should I just tell her I wouldn’t feel comfortable?
So me and my boyfriend has been dating for about three years now. I’m happy , he’s happy… I love him so much<3 In the beginning it was quite a struggle though with his parents because of my race(I'm half black/white) and their wanting him to marry someone from the same culture/race(hes Korean) as their selves but eventually they got over it since they thought we were just together for the moment. Heh but little did they know their son had bigger plans for us and he had popped the question to me a few weeks ago. Ofcourse I said yes. His parents got hysterical though and constantly came at us with these crazy reasons as to why we shouldn't get married.It's gotten to the point where I can't accompany him to meet his parents; Which has resulted in him not seeing them as much as he used to. It saddens me to see their relationship diminishing because of me …………
But basically is anyone else going thru this same situation? What should we/I do? I mean it is our lives but it's his parents. I feel they should be apart of our lives as well. This is stressing my fiance and me out which resulted in me postponing the wedding. We can't just cut them off.
Help . Any and all suggestions will be well appreciated.
I want to know if it would be easier to plan it through the hotel myself or through a travel agent?
Alrightie, here goes. I’m a girl, I want to start a band. I know a guy who plays drums, someone who plays guitar. My dream has been to sing or play bass. My inspiration is Andy Biersack-singer in Black Veil Brides. I have a low voice for a girl, I don’t sing high or anything. I know most people are interested in boy bands and stuff, though.
I’m wondering how I could ask these people to form a band with me, how to go about it. I’m also asking if anyone would want to listen to a band with a girl singer (who is more into the “goth” -if I must label it- style), even if her voice is deep. I’m not interested in a solo career, I’d like to actually be in a band. So how do I go about this…?
I know it’s work, I know what I’m getting into. Helpful advice would be great.

Okay, so recently, I’ve decided that I want to major in EVENT PLANNING, specifically festive events like wedding showers, weddings, parties…all that fun stuff. But I just want to know…what major would I have to take in college if I want to become an event planner? Would it be Communications or something?
I already know that most U.S. colleges don’t offer an event planning major, so for the schools I’m considering, which are NYU, UCLA and UC Irvine, what major would suit me best if I want to be an event planner?
At the moment, I am taking community college courses in Houston, TX, so I would be going to the 4-year as a transfer. Hopefully it’s not that hard, especially NYU!
There is a country song that is slightly older. A female sings it. It talks about the singer seeing her ex’s wedding announcement in the paper and the picture of the bride and talking about not like her even though she doesn’t know her. They talk about drawing horns on the picture and blacking out her eye. I can’t stop thinking about it. Please help!
I want to start my own wedding planning business but I don’t have any experience working for a coordinator because nobody in my area has that type of business. (I’d be the first!) Any suggestions on how to get me going without an education or hand on training? I know alot through my own interests, friends that have gotten married, and all of the literature I’ve read on the industry of weddings.
