Hello,
My fiance and I are getting married May of 2013, as everyone is well aware weddings are extremely expensive. We are already spent $25,000.00 and we are not even close to being finished planning. To try to save money in some areas I was wondering if anyone had any center piece ideas i can make rather than spending more money and buying it. I would prefer a lot of pictures and step by step if possible so I can make these for my tables. I tried googling DIY and images but I didn’t see any that caught my eye.
Ok- I am trying to think of different off beat things for wedding favors and centerpieces. I am trying to have a very fun and different wedding. So far I have decided that I am having a Masquerade Ball Wedding and we are going to ask the guest to please wear black or white. The invitations will read something like Black and White Ball…. We are going to supply feather mask for the guest at the tables. My dress is either going to be a medium pink or hot pink and the bridesmaids will be black and white.
I have check out all the basic things for favors- CDs, Candy, Cookies, baskets, candles, cookie cutters ect… but none of them are different enough. I really like the small bottles of wine but they were $5.00 per person and we are having 200 guest- OUCH!
For centerpieces- I like something different then flowers…
Any ideas no matter how crazy or weird are greatly appreicated!
Yes, I am a very tacky!! And I don’t need any comments about how different and strange I am!!
So the wedding colors will be gold and white and the majority of the flowers will be lilies. What do you guys (ladies
) think of the idea of having Eiffel tower vases with giant white feathers in them as centerpieces? Its a June wedding so I’m wondering if the feathers are too wintery or not…
anyone have any other ideas for centerpieces?
thanks!!
I have a bubble theme and the colours are blue, silver and white. Any flower and center pieces ideas please???
My fiance and I are really wanting to go with a “theme” for our wedding. We were considering a movie/hollywood glamor theme because it would give that “fun time” feel we are looking for and it would kind of personalize our wedding to something that we enjoy. We were looking into have a few big decorations that would go along with our theme and just do small simple, yet fun table centerpieces.
We were looking into doing some big floor pieces that would go along with our theme. In the process for looking, we came across the idea of prom theme decorations that we thought would suit our theme very well….
Does this sound to “high-school” to use prom props for our wedding?
I’m helping my friend plan her wedding, which is in July and I need some ideas for Table Centerpieces.
The wedding is outside and and her color scheme is a Teal Blue and Brown.
Pictures would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

My wedding colors are purple, black and ivory. We have black table clothes on huge tables (6 feet by 5 feet) and are trying to save some money. We bought a ton small glass candleholders, but beyond that are at a loss.

I am having my wedding and reception at my church. I need nice, yet inexpensive centerpiece ideas. I was thinking of those wedding gems scatter on the tables and maybe some candles. Have anyone ever done the wedding gems and what do you think? Any photos or ideas for centerpiece ideas that you have seen done for very cheap??!!
