Wedding Planning Tips

I’m not entirely sure what colors I want for our wedding. It’ll be July 27th of next year, so something summery. I’m just having a hard time picking a color scheme. He says he likes blues but is fine with whatever I choose. Originally we were having a fall wedding with burt orange, red and brown, but that won’t work now that we changed the date. Here’s some color combos I was thinking of
light pink and pale yellow
navy blue and light pink
navy blue and yellow
navy blue and light blue
We haven’t booked our reception site yet, but both places I’m looking at have very neutral schemes so our colors won’t clash. I’m getting my girls together to put them in some of these colors to see what looks best on them too and get their opinions as well and my sister my MOH is coming home for spring break next week so we’re hoping to get some planning done. I’d like our wedding to feel romantic and beautiful. What do you think would be pretty for a summer wedding? Thanks

I am having a formal evening wedding in June. my reception theme is a masquerade and the colors are all black with bright turquoise accents (david’s bridal color malibu blue) I am having the hardest time choosing flowers. any ideas?? My centerpieces are going to be 6″x20″ cylinder vases 1/3 filled with glass gems with a turquoise led light in the bottom filled the rest of the way with water and a black floating candle lit on top. my table linens are black and so are my chair covers. mainly I am trying to decide on flowers for my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets (their dresses are turquoise) any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I’m the Maid of Honor in my best friend’s wedding and we have come across a minor conundrum. While shopping for dresses for the bridal party, we found the perfect dress for me. It’s in a flattering midnight blue with a gorgeous cut. We were both so excited about it! So, what could possibly be the problem? Her future brother in-law is getting a divorce and his wedding colors included that very shade of blue. She has not definitively chosen her colors or bought the dress yet, so it’s not as if she couldn’t change it. We understand that her fiancé’s brother is going through a tough transition and we want to spare his brother’s feelings but it’s her wedding and she should be happy. There’s always the thought of asking him if he would be offended by the color choice but I worry that he may simply bite his tongue and say it’s fine. The last thing we all want is for someone to be uncomfortable during a time of celebration. Can anyone offer some advice on situation?

So plans kept changing. I am wearing a wedding dress and a dark pink sash (watermelon at Davids Bridal) fiance got a fuschia pink vest & tie and he is wearing a black dress shirt and our daughters dress is black on top and white on bottom and I bought a pink ribbon that is fairly close to her dads vest but not exactly that I want to use as a sash for her. Will our wedding pictures look odd with these different shades?

My fiancee and I are planning to get married next September and I have no clue what colors or flowers I want! There are so many option out there and we are working on a tight budget between $3,500 and $6000 so I cant afford to hire a wedding planner. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated also once I figure out my flowers and colors any suggestions on a cheap place to get invitations,centerpieces and decorations would be appreciated too I feel like I am going crazy trying to plan this.lol.

My wedding colors are white and gold. How to I match the golds? Bridesmaid dresses, favors, groomsman, etc. Any ideas? It’s important that the golds I use throughout my wedding match or at least are very close.

I LOVE the idea of yellow and grey together for a wedding color scheme. My mom thinks the grey is too drab so I’m wondering if I should add accents of another color? If so, what color? I definitely want the bridesmaid dresses to be grey, and the groomsmen will wear black tuxedos with grey vests. My fiancee loves the whole idea too, we just aren’t sure what to put with it.

If you haven’t invested in those colors, change them. Brown and turquoise were in a few years ago but are now a passed fad. Your pictures will look dated and old fashioned soon. Try a more classic color combo.

well am going to get married next year my theme is a beach wedding.my center pieces are going to be ivory roses and some candles and the wedding favors some cake or castle candles with a little thank you note my ceremony is going to be a sand one with the vase not handle.but the problem is that what colors should be my bridesmaid dress? how should the groom and groom men be dressed? and the bouquets for the bridesmaids please help.am planning like in june.and the food is going to be a mexican catering any other ideas for food?? please help me out guys thanx
