And it’s about damn time.
After a less-than-smooth breakup from my long term boyfriend, who unfortunately loved the person he wanted me to be more than the person I actually was, I say: Screw him! Screw all of this crap that makes us believe we need to constantly search for that perfect other to feel at ease with our lives whether we like it or not.
I need to know that I can honor , commit to, love, cherish and support myself before anyone else can join in with a fair chance. Right?
I thought about doing some type of Pagan hand-fasting thing but I would need someone there to tie the ribbons, darnit, and I’d prefer this to be something personal and private. Just me and myself there.
I thought about buying a nice simple silver wedding band, some flowers, simple white dress.
And any ideas for the honeymoon would be appreciated as well 
I’m also flying solo there too.
