How To Make Flower Arrangement Without Stems Showing In Clear Glass?
Tagged Under : Arrangement, Clear, Flower, Glass, Make, Showing, Stems, without
I know this is a very specific question to ask… But if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I stumbled upon this photograph of a floral arrangement and I absolutely fell in love with it and decided I wanted to make one similar for my home. One of the things I loved most about it was that you could not see the stems of the flowers in the actual clear vase. It is like the flowers are all floating on the top? I’ve seen pictures of this done with all different types of vase styles.

Thanks everyone!
I am having a formal evening wedding in June. my reception theme is a masquerade and the colors are all black with bright turquoise accents (david’s bridal color malibu blue) I am having the hardest time choosing flowers. any ideas?? My centerpieces are going to be 6″x20″ cylinder vases 1/3 filled with glass gems with a turquoise led light in the bottom filled the rest of the way with water and a black floating candle lit on top. my table linens are black and so are my chair covers. mainly I am trying to decide on flowers for my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets (their dresses are turquoise) any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!
I would like to buy clay flower pots but can not find any for a resonable price (considering I need 225 of them).. I could look into plastic ones.. where do I find them? Looked at Michaels, walmart, home depot. Help.
I am planning a wedding, and I would love to have personalized roses-
( a rose with the name of each guest written on one of its petals) at their place setting for the reception.
however- when looking up the pricing for this it is absolutely ridiculous!
I decided I will probably do them myself, but I am not sure what i should use for it…
I am used to working on canvas or paper- not rose petals…
should i try this with a tiny detail brush and paint?
or to make it easier should i use a pen? i am sure that my calligraphy pen will tear the rose petals, and I am worried about the ink in my drawing pens bleeding and making the words blurry on the petal.
any idea what i can use for this??
So I’m on a very limited budget and I really like the look of these bouquets, but what should the flower girl drop down the aisle? I don’t know how much the silk petals would clash and I don’t want little bits of felt on the ground. Is there something else she could drop or would the silk flowers work? Any other suggestions?

Flower Girl Dress, Who Gets It?
Tagged Under : Dress, Flower, Gets, Girl
So I’m having a flower girl for my wedding I think she’s like 9 years old super cute, anyway is it common courtesy for us to buy the flower girl dress or them? Frankly I told them i didn’t care if she just wore a regular dress or a dress that matched but colors but they want to get this special one…am I supposed to buy it for them? I have no idea what her size is…I’m confused. I really dont have time to go with them to buy one either…so what should i do?
My brother is getting married soon. His fiancee and him have decided to have NO wedding party at all – not even a maid of honour and best man. However, they did decide to have my daughter as a flower girl.
Today I picked up her outfit that my brother’s fiancee chose for my daughter, and it is HIDEOUS! It’s an ivory tutu (which is ok), with a pure white wife-beater tank top! The top is literally a cotton, ribbed, wide-strapped, wife-beater undershirt. And not only that, but it also completely clashes to have a pure white top with an ivory skirt.
I am horrified that my daughter has to wear this, and very concerned that all of the guests (most of who I don’t know at all) will think I am some awful mother who dresses her daughter like a freak!
I don’t really have the option of telling my brother’s fiancee that I hate the outfit – we don’t have that kind of relationship at all. So my daughter will have to wear it to the wedding.
But can you reassure me that if you were a guest that you would assume that the bride had chosen the flower girl’s outfit and not her own mother?
Also, please let me know if somehow I am just totally old and out of touch with current fashion and that outfit sounds nice to you. The bride works in fashion, so maybe I’m wrong?
