I work part-time at an event center that hosts wedding receptions, parties, etc. I’m in college working toward a degree in biology so I can go to med-school. As such, I work there only during the summer months. I work really hard (on numerous occasions, I have been clearing tables while my co-workers stand around watching me). I try to do my best at every event and I feel like I’m one of the best workers they have. Well, a few days ago I was pulled aside by one of my co-workers who is kind of like a manager. She helps coordinate the events, does scheduling, etc. She said that she wanted to discuss “sections” with me. Apparently, I had been crossing into other people’s sections while clearing plates. Generally, if I’m passing a table and see someone with an empty plate in front of them, I’ll take it away. She said that she had been behind me when I cleared a plate from one of her assigned tables and that she doesn’t want people to “feel rushed” by having two servers around their table. I thought that I was doing an exceptional job by trying to do more than is required of me, but apparently not. I was polite with her, but the truth is that I’m pretty bitter about it. I work my butt off and try to do more than is required of me only to get in trouble for it. There’s also one co-worker that acts really cold toward me. I try to be friendly with her, even though she’s not very friendly to me. For instance, I asked her some questions about college/her plans for the future just to be friendly. She answered them, but acted really indifferent toward me. It’s like she doesn’t give a crap about me. Can someone give me some suggestions/encouragement? Am I wrong for being bitter about this job?
My fiance and I are getting married this September, but he will receive his orders August some time. We are toying with the idea of going to the Justice of the Peace in Texas prior to our wedding date, but it’s going to be an expensive trip with wedding costs coming at me left and right.

Ok so the best example I can think of is the dress off of the most recent “Pride and Prejudice” the one Jane wears when being proposed to. I hadn’t really thought of commercial or domestic interior design. They would probably both be pretty rewarding. I suppose commercial would be a little better with larger budgets and customers probably have a clearer idea of what they want.
