Wedding Planning Tips

I’ve been engaged for about two months. My parents don’t approve of my engagement, but never really told me why. I have very over protective parents and I have a very “people pleaser” personality, and I always try extremely hard to please my parents. They were very angry when I told them I was engaged, and they haven’t brought it up since. They just are acting like I am not engaged.
I graduated college recently and am working full time. I don’t expect my parents to pay for any part of my wedding. My fiance is getting deployed soon, and we were originally thinking about getting married the summer after he gets back. I’ve been dreaming about marrying him for a long time, and now that the time is here to plan and look for a dress and all that fun stuff…I just don’t even want to because my parents made me feel so terrible about wanting to get married. My fiance and I were talking about just getting married at a court house before he leaves and maybe having a ceremony when he gets back. (I say maybe because he wants a ceremony and I’m to the point where the stress of not wanting to displease my parents is not worth having a wedding ceremony).
I want to enjoy this time in my life, because it’s the only time it’s ever going to happen, but I can’t overcome the guilt about displeasing my parents. Help?

i’m planning on visiting a walk-in clinic tomorrow to have a medium sized anal skin tag removed. i’d gone to the doctor about this issue before and decided not to have any sort of procedure done, but have since changed my mind due to the level of discomfort. from what i’ve read, this is a quick procedure, but the healing process will definitely involve some discomfort.
i am supposed to leave for a destination wedding on saturday morning, roughly 72 hours after the procedure will have been completed. i would normally not do this kind of thing before getting on a plane for a long time and then vacationing for a week, but i can’t take this any longer and need to get rid of it so i have some peace of mind.
my question is…from a medical standpoint, will i be okay to fly? i have a high pain tolerance, so i’m not super concerned about that. forgot to ask the doctor when i called today with questions and would like a professional’s input before i go through with this.

we are engaged. dated for almost 4 and ahalf years.practice abstinence even saving our first kiss for wedding day. the works. hes VERY business minded and is VERY big planner so he has pretty much maped out our future based on his and my earnings. he wants me to work so we can retire faster at like 40 but i dont want to work full time i want to stay home with the (feuture) kids. he said when we can offord for me not to work i can quite but to him “afford means we are retired. he said its not fair for him to have to work and me to sit at home and mooch off his hard wokl unless i have to. help please

My fiance and I are getting married in 3 weeks. She left another man to be with me. About every 3 months he has checked in to see how she is. I told him to stop, back in August which he agreed to do. He found out our wedding date and he started emailing her daily.
She then made plans to meet with him over Thanksgiving after I left. She did not know I knew this. However, I informed her that I felt like she was going to see him and that if she did the wedding was off. She set a date and time to meet him and lied to me about it. I then said if you see him it is over. She then realized I was on to her yet she still did not know how.
Long story short, we got into a huge fight after we returned and she looked me in the eye and lied.
I love this woman very much and resisted the urge to show her how I knew.
She says he means nothing to her. Should I trust her? I have even said that if they want to talk I want to be present but he won’t go for that. I gave in and told her I was sorry mostly because I love her so much. However, my trust has dwindled to almost nothing.
The other thing is that he happens to know who I am however he does not know me. He initiates the contact and then she continues the conversation instead of ignoring it and shutting it down. I am a large athletic man. He happens to be a sportswriter who knows how fast and strong I am. Supposedly he is a bit afraid of me. I sent him a message and let him know that he is violating our agreement. He did not reply.
I also know she called him a few days ago and it appears it was for him to discontinue contact with her. I believe this because there has not been any contact that I know of. This appeared to happen shortly before I sent him a message. The other thing is that he has been a long time friend of her family. I have tried being respectful but my patience is wearing.
Thoughts please.

My husband and I been married for a year and 9 months almost gonna be 2 years we been together for 2 years and 9 months it’s almost gonna be 3 years:)we weren’t together that long before we got married we went to high school together but during high school his parents didn’t want him to get married but they respect his wish once we got married they were happy but not excited his mom didn’t cry at all at our wedding.I was born here and my husband was born in Mexico he had no papers we got married in his backyard but in a civil ceremony and we had our ghetto wedding reception at his backyard lol.I was 19 and he was 20 were both the same age,Were living with his family renting a small room in his aunt,uncle and his 3 cousins in a 2 bedroom and 1 bath house our room was the smallest we sleep in a full size bed and we share the bathroom with his family.I get a long with my in laws really good except my brother in law and his neighbors don’t really like me I’m really good at cooking and cleaning I’m working but I’m not going to school because I don’t want to my Hubby was going to college 7 months later he got an international drivers license and he got a full time job:).He’s taking time off from school just to work full time.We both drive his mom’s car me and my husband are so in love everything is going good.Were still living in a 2 bedroom and 1 bath house with his aunt,uncle and 3 of his cousins for almost 2 years but were moving out and were already planning on having a baby:)we never took a vacation together before as husband and wife being married is treating me good there’s times we go out with our friends and times we go out as a couple I wonder if me and my Hubby will continue our life’s together we hardly ever argue.I have friends that have kids,I want a baby so bad so I could fit in with my friends.My hubby and I are already planning on having a baby will I ever continue to live happily married to the love of my life:)

I’ve known this guy for about 11 years and I’ve been in love with him ever since. We dated for a little while when we were teenagers but it ended when he moved a couple hours away. Since then we see each other at least once a year, maybe more. Anyways, for about 6 months now, I have been have almost identical dreams about him and his family. The first dream I had, was me and him walking down a path and his mom and dad were waiting on the other side, I have never met his dad in real life and in my dream I told him it was nice to meet him. In another dream, we were sitting in his bedroom and his siblings were in there with us, when one of them disappeared. We spent the rest of the dream searching for her. In another dream, he was getting married and his mother and I was trying to stop the wedding. Last night I dreamt we were in his kitchen and we were eating dinner with his mom and siblings (his dad was only in the first dream). In each dream I look at his siblings and I cant believe how big they are because the last time I saw them they were all little kids. These are just a few examples. I’ve been having dreams like this for about 6 months. Recently they have become closer together. Does anyone have any ideas on what they can mean? Thank you

uh, dont spend hundreds or htousands on a building (which uses utitlites,etc) and catering( which uses plastics and fuelst ot heat or cool, etc) and force people to wear ridiculous clothing made in chinese sweat shops.
best to just forgo the whole thiing and get a civil wedding.

ok so i am 17 she is 16 we met 5 months ago and she was just getting out of a terrrible relationship and she cuts herself because of it me and her have been telling each other we love each other for the past 2 months weve been cuddling making out etc. 3 days ago she waited in the rain just
to cuddle with me for an hour but then yesterday we got into a fight sorta :/ i wanna date but shes not ready and she says shes scared of hurting me because shes the type of girl with low self esteem and very low confidence so she cuddles with guys to make herself feel special but she texted me lastnight and said i love you but im scared to fall in love with you and scared im gonna get hurt she said that those guys dont mean a thing and that she wants me needs me and doesnt want me to leave cause shed be lost without me i feel like me and her can be together and should
be weve both had rough pasts VERY VERY ROUGH and we both understand each other and where like pretty much the same person i love her and i know she loves me but she is having trouble she cuts herself btw so i know shes not playing me cause that wouldnt even make sense so ive kinda been thinking we both have HUGE AMOUNTS of stress and frustration some of the stuff we have been through is terrible an it has alot to do with our parents abusing and hitting and pretty much getting the **** beat out of us so i was thinkg cause we have all this stress and frustration and we both love each other wouldnt it make sense PLEASE IM NOT TRYING TO SOUND BAD OR ANYTHING HERE but wouldnt it make sense just for us to have sex? i mean we love grinding on each other but its not gonna get us off obviously and i know sex is good for realieving stress
and im not trying to just do this to have sex
its not even a issue i dont need it but i think it will honestly help
what i figure would happen is if we do it we would do it once
and it wouldnt be a half hearted thing id be put everything i have
into making her happy and making her feel good as possible then
my needs would come last i think it would really help us
not only get our stress and frustration out but i think
we would become better friends as well and wed be able to think
more clearly with all the stress gone im not a dum *** i know not to
get her pregnant i know condoms i know not nutting in her
im well aware of that stuff but does that seem like a good idea?
there arent any downsides cause no one gets hurt
i stay her bestfriend and we both end up happy so it makes sense doesnt it?
BY THE WAY the abuse isnt as much now as it use to be and where not virgins and i havent talked to her about this yet i planned on talking to her tmmrw about it and i need advice

My stepfather has played a big role in my life and I want him to feel included also so I was hoping to have my bio dad and my step-dad walk me down the aisle. On a side note, I’m not looking to have a strictly traditional wedding. It’s going to be a relaxing beach wedding….
