It won’t be for 1 1/2 years, but I’m starting to look around now just to get an idea where we’ll go. We don’t have much money to spend, but my dream honeymoon would be to Belize. It’s so beautiful, there’s so much there, and a treehouse (witth plumbing and electricity) sounds like a dream to me. I’m someone who wants to travel around the world, but has never even been on a plane. What better way to start our life together than my first plane trip to a rainforest/the Caribean-I know, corny, but I love the idea of it. They have everything there that I would consider to be included in the perfect honeymoon, and I want to go there soooo bad.
But we’re on a budget, and I’m afraid prices are a little high for us. We’re having a small wedding-it’s what we want, not settling-and my parents paid for at least $6,000 of my sister’s weddiing (mainly the photographer), and I’m pretty sure will do the same for our wedding.
So, first option, we can take that and have a great honeymoon (unless I’m totally ignorant about vacationing and $6,000 is not even enough to go to Belize for somewhere like 4 nights and 5 days, lol).
Second option, we can put it towards the small wedding, which will cover a LOT of the expenses, and not go to Belize for our honeymoon, instead picking somewhere less expensive and less exotic.
I WANT to go to Belize for our honeymoon, and of course my fiance and I still have to discuss it, but he seems to be leaving most of it up to me. I was just wondering what you would do. For a little background, I have a four year old daughter, am 4 1/2 months pregnant with his child, we’ll be moving in together around September, he has a good job, but I haven’t even finished college yet (I’m 27 but took some time off for some stupid reason), and I’m in the middle of writing my first book, and we really are on a tight budget. Thankfully we would want a small wedding regardless of the money we could spend, so it’ll be great for us, and we’re getting married at my parents house (they have nice property). And we live in northern New Jersey if it matters.
What should we do?! I think I’ve already figured it out, and I’m sure my fiance will agree with my reasoning once we’ve really discussed it, but I’m still curious about your opinions. Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can give:)

I always talk a lot about our wedding and always plan it like everyday. Well, if you’re gonna have a wedding, you usually gotta have a honeymoon. I wonder if he would prefer a cruise, a trip to an exotic place, a drive to somewhere, skydiving, Disney, etc..
As for me, I’m alright as long as I’m with him. I would even be cool with no honeymoon. I really hope he’s not into cruises, though ’cause it reminds me of Titanic but it’s not like anything bad would happen to him if it sinks ’cause I’m not selfish and mean like Rose. I would share my piece of wood with him and if the 2 of us don’t fit, I’ll either make HIM get on the wood or I’ll get in the cold water with him and let it be God’s will. Together in the good times and the bad ones. Always and forever.

My sister had her wedding 2 months ago. It was a huge celebration and it was in California in the dessert with a lot of people and we spent about $30,000 on the whole thing. She couldn’t afford her honeymoon: Time and Money wise. Now they can. They have 10 weeks off during the summer and they plan to go somewhere for 2 weeks. They got bonuses for Christmas and have taken up a few extra shifts and got promoted. So they can afford a trip.
I just want to see where other people went to give them an idea. My husband and I got married 10 years ago and honeymooned in Hawaii: A road trip from California to Florida for 2 weeks after the wedding, A 2 week cruise, and 2 two week trip in Hawaii. They think it is stupid.

Where To Go For A Honeymoon In September?
Tagged Under : honeymoon, September, Where
My wedding date is September 24th, and we were planning on going to Jamaica and found out that is when hurricane season is, so is it a bad idea to risk it and travel to Jamaica? And if so what are some good other locations preferably not too far away, and a little exotic?

My new bride and I are huge nature buffs, and we love camping. Because we are still students, we haven’t taken our honeymoon yet. We would like to go camping for our honeymoon, either sometime in March, or maybe over the summer. Does anyone know of any good places to go camping, preferably in the southern United States?
Also if you could suggest things to do while there, that would be great.

Wedding Planning: Do Not Miss These
Tagged Under : Diary, honeymoon, Planning Wedding, Wedding Forums, Wedding Plan
There are a lot of tasks to be completed when you are planning for your wedding. You will need to be very careful when you are doing the planning work. You should never overlook the tasks. As a matter of fact, wedding planning is never an easy task.
You may wonder why wedding planning is so difficult. You may also want to know what the items involved are. In fact, there are a lot of items you need to think about. The wedding favor, invitation, and reception hall are just some of the examples of them. Besides all these items, you will also need to plan for your honeymoon. You will need to at least confirm the air tickets in advance.
You will have a schedule for your wedding planning. It is not difficult to set the schedule. You may want to read some bridal magazines or visit some online wedding forums in order to get some tips to set your schedule. You will need to list all the items involved. You will also need to layout the budget of them.
One thing you need to remember is to stick to your pre-set schedule. A lot of couples just fail to stick to the schedule. However, you will just ruin your wedding plan if you cannot really stick to it. For example, your guests may not have the time to reply you if you send the invitation too late. As a result, you must go back to your schedule from time to time. You are doing that in order to make sure that you will be working according to your schedule.
You should use a notebook or a diary to keep track of your own planning schedule. Of course it is totally fine for you to put the data in the computer. As a matter of fact, a lot of couples will find it more convenient to store the data in the mobile phone since it is already a very powerful computer. The advantage of this is that you will bring along with your mobile phone everyday and it will be very easy for you to keep track of your schedule. However, you should remember to backup the data from time to time. You will just lose everything if you lose your mobile phone.
In fact, you do not just use your mobile phone for keeping track of your wedding planning schedule. It can also be a useful tool when you are doing your research. In most cases you can take photos with your cell phone. When you visit a wedding vendor, you may take photos of the items you love and this will help you a lot when you are making your final decisions. However, you will need to make sure that you are allowed to take photos of the items.
Remember, you should start planning for your wedding as early as possible. This is because wedding planning is a time consuming job. If you have enough time to do so, the chance is that you will be planning a more wonderful event!
