My husband and I r planning to have a vow renewal wedding and we want to go all out this is the perfect location but idk how much it costs to rent it for a day
We live in Las Vegas (don’t drink or gamble). So far we will have breakfast at the Wynn, limo ride after breakfast, love notes hid in different places all day (in hotel suite, Limo, etc) What am I missing? In the evening we will take a carriage ride in beautiful Town Square. Yet from Lunch to dinner I am all out of ideas? Married 10 years the affection is still hot! But I need icing for this cake!
I was at a reception and as part of the wedding party I was tasked with the clean up process. During clean up I had set my phone down and once done went to look for it. It was gone. With it being a long night I assumed I had left it in my room, or it got mixed in with the Bride and Grooms things. I asked the front desk, re-looked in the banquet room many times. I sent text to my phone requesting it be returned then eventually deactivated it. The following business day checked my bill as no changes posted over the weekend and it showed that the phone was being used to make calls out while I was cleaning up to numbers local to the hotel area and all in our party was out of the area. No one else but hotel staff and our party were in the room during clean up. So with 99.1% certainty it was an hotel employee. I reported it to the Hotel Management & Security including providing names and numbers called and exact time frame of when the phone was stolen. I also filed a police report. This was valued at over $700 to replace, I’m fairly confident it won’t be found but can I expect or make the hotel reimburse me for replacement?
The investigation is still open and I am trying to be as nice and easy to work with as I can but would like to know what leverage I can have to repace my phone. … or did a stay at an old moldy hotel that cost me $860 for one nights stay? Phone Replacement + Room Charge?
I am getting married in August at a historical venue attached to an old fashioned inn and spa. For those from Toronto, it’s at the Old Mill.
They sent me little vouchers to send with the invitations that offer a discount code for the night of the wedding, as well as a map and directions on how to get there.
Several guests will be coming from far away, I thought they might entertain the idea of spending the night. Is it tacky to include these with the invites, or would I be better off calling them once they rsvp?
not if you live in the united states. in some countries, yes, but in america no. normally, the bride and groom find a hotel near their wedding venue which will give a discount to their guests when they mention they are with that wedding and then the bride and groom reserve a block of rooms for the people they know will be coming from out of town. then this information is included in the invitations for those who are coming from out of town with a small inclosure card. be sure the hotel is not going to charge you for any rooms which are not used.
the bride and groom normally also place a “welcome” basket in their guests rooms, well they give them to the hotel to do it. welcome baskets can be anything from fruit, cheese and crackers, bottled water, split of wine or champagne, brochures of things to do in your down, candy, bath or shower products, flip flops and sunscreen, whatever is fitting with or suits your wedding theme or your area.

I am planning to get married in the Philippines 2 years from now and I was wondering if anyone has an idea how much would it cost to get married in the Philippines. It will be a church wedding and reception would be at a hotel in Makati (Peninsula, Intercon, or Shangrila). I was also considering Fernwood or Fernbrook Gardens. I just need an estimate. Please advise if you have any idea.
