ok i need to lose alot of weight fast for a wedding, so i was thinking if i ate one medium packet of potato chips a day would i lose weight? i dont care if its bad for me ill start eating health after the wedding
Hello I am 18 years old and have been lifting for 4 years now. I am currently an mma fighter in training For 3 with wrestling for 8 years, so I am constantly active and know how to cut weight. Every day is a work out. Mon. Wed. Fri. Are full body workouts from squats to benching and everything in between. Tues. thurs. are lighter days but more focused on toning. Every day is also vigorous abs work out day. I train every night for minimum of 4 hours for mma. This includes going live for 2 hours with 1 hour of technique and 1 of cardio such as stairs or the track before hand. My diet consists of 2 turkey wraps an apple and a ton of water each day. I also take whey protein, animal pack vitamin, a.p. stack, a.p. pm (a.p. = animal pack), along with hydroxy cut platinum, and alkiline 1500 each day. I recently introduced jacked, and pm powder which is also whey. That is all I consume each day no snacks other than an bandanna or extra apple. I for some reason cannot lose my belly, hips, and inner thy spare tires….. It is not as if they are surrounded in fat, but just enough to cover the abs and make the legs and butt look big. I just want to lose that final 20 pounds but I see no results. Every other area is riped accept for those areas. I even changed my work outs to favor those sections with no luck. I do not exceed 1400 calories with my food including all powders and pills. I know how to lift and do it properly, but it just isn’t working out. Any advice would be appreciated now that you read my long explanatio.Statistics – 6′0″ 184 bench 275, and squat 315 3 sets of 10 normal per lifting day.
Ok I have my nutrition down, I;m not gonna eat any junk, or drink any sugary liquids, and gonna eat about 1600 calories daily. I’m 16, a GUY, 5′10 tall, about 176 lbs. I really want to lose 10-15 pounds by September 1st, 2011. I plan on going to the gym Mon., Wed, and Fri, and stay at home and d HIIT and abs on tues, thurs, and saturday. Only thing is, what should I do at the gym, in order to tone up, lose 10-15 pounds, lose my belly, lose my love handles, and lose my bum fat. I;m not obese, but there is still 10-15 pounds left so that I can see my abs. I mainly need to tone up, i really wanna look good without a shirt, what should I do at the Gym, 3 days a week, to make me achieve my goal by sept 1st this year, thanks

i am doing weight watchers and i am planning my wedding so i want to loose weight …. how long should i walk on the tredmill? what speed? how long? and how many day out the week?….. Thanks for the help!;)
I will give you a little background so you can get a better idea of my situation.
About a year and a half ago, I was: 6′0, 208lbs, maybe 25-28% body fat. I started on the Beach Body P90X workout plan. I stuck it hard and kept up the diet and the work outs to a T. I ended up at a final weight on day 90 at 188, and lost 15″ off around my body. I think it was roughly down to around 18% body fat. I was happy with the results.
Then we moved, got a dog, planned and had our wedding. It has been a little over a year since I finished P90X and I was back up to 213 pounds. I still have a lot of my muscle mass from P90X so it isn’t a complete relapse, but I definitely put some of the fat back on. I called it the “honeymoon diet.” My legs and arms were still toned, but I packed on a lot of “gut.”
Now, on to my question. To have a little change of scenery, my wife and I started the P90 program (the program that P90X was based on) to see how it is. It is the same type of stuff but shorter workouts. (P90X is 58-90 minutes, P90 is 30-40) We have been using the diet from P90X because it is better designed since they had the P90 diet as a start.
Anyways, since we started, I have been losing about a pound every 2 days. We are almost done with week 2, and I am down to 205.4 from 213.6. I mean that is over 8 pounds in less than 2 weeks. It has been a steady weight loss.
Is it just because I had such a crappy diet and little exercise, to a regimented exercise plan and balanced meals? (I used to eat after midnight, lots of carbs, sugars, etc.) I still have a lot of muscle mass, so is it easier for me to burn off the fat faster now that I already have the muscle from when I was 185?
I am not exactly starving myself either. I eat when I am hungry, and I stop eating when I am full. The only time I “starve” is before bed, but that is what you are supposed to do since you don’t want calories just sitting in your body un-metabolized.
I eat a clif bar (kind of a protein bar) and a protein shake for breakfast. I think it is around 600 calories combined. Lunch is ham and turkey sandwiches. Its wheat bread, lean ham and turkey, lite mayo, pepper jack cheese, and pickles. I usually make 2 sandwiches, but usually stop somewhere in the middle of the second one due to being full. Dinner is a ham and turkey salad. I shred up a plate full of hearts of romaine. Add some lite ranch, some lean ham and turkey, some shredded cheese, and some cucumbers. Depending on the size of the salad I usually have a grapefruit, orange, or apple after wards.
I think the combined calorie intake for the day is maybe 2000-2200. (When I as on P90X, the guide had me at 3000 calories a day! Granted those work outs had me burning 900-1000 per workout, so it was fine.)
So I am definitely eating enough, I am eating right, I am working out, and I am definitely dropping weight FAST. Is there anything I am missing that could be contributing to the rapid weight loss? Generally losing weight this fast is a bad sign. While people may think losing weight is good, you have to do it correctly if you want to be healthy!
Any suggestions?
I’m a brides maid in my friends wedding which is on new years eve like anyone else I put on holiday weight and no longer fit in my dress it’s too late to take it to get altered any suggestions? Would getting a girdle help? What if I were to start a crash diet after Christmas cutting out almost all meals essentially.
