I’m an atheist and my fiance is christian. We respect each other’s beliefs, and we would never try to change each other.
He wants to get married in a church in a christian way…and I wouldn’t feel comfortable with it. We’ve talked about it, and we just don’t know what we could do…I brought up the non-religious ceremony but he didn’t like the idea…
Has anyone been in or know someone who’s been in the same situation? Have any ideas where we can both be happy with our wedding ceremony? =) lol

Me and my soon to be fiance are planning our wedding, and my mom and his mom both mentioned to us separately at different times that we should have a dinner so they can meet each other. My fiance and I both think that this is a good idea, we are both wondering if this dinner should be something that we pay for, or is it just like a normal dinner and everyone pays for themselves?
