Me and my fiance have been brainstorming menu ideas and this is what we’ve come up with for our wedding reception menu:
-Breakfast pastry assortment (muffins, bagels and croissants)
-Strawberry/ choclate chip pancakes
- turkey meatballs with orange-cranberry glaze
-sweet sausage rolls
-brown sugar bacon wrapped pineapple
-clam chowder
-fruit skewers
- Champagne peach punch
What do you guys think? Any suggestions on things we could take out or include?
Fall Wedding Menu Help?

I’m having my wedding in the fall and I don’t know what to serve. I’ve considered soups and salads as a starter but after that I have no idea. There will be a cocktail and light munching hour then a salad/soup starter, main dish, desert, cake then I want two tables filled with food through out the night . But I don’t know what foods to serve that fit the fall theme! I like the idea of a pumpkin soup and cranberry salad but I don’t want that to be the only starter option. Any suggestions will help!
I’m helping my cousin to plan her wedding which is going to be this November. She is on a strict budget of $1,000 for her reception. We already have the venue and after calculating the rest of the costs we’ve decided she only has about $6 she can spend per person on food. We are going to do a buffet because we figured that it would be cheapest. There are going to be 60-75 people attending. So can anyone help me to plan out a menu to fit her budget.
I think she’s pretty much open, on the types of food she wants to have.
