Wedding Planning Tips

My fiancé and I are feeling a little stresses and fighting a lot.. Here’s the problem.. One of his friends is getting married this summer and I feel like he’s asking to too much. The tuxes he chose happen the be $200 a piece which happens to be one of the most expensive at men’s warehouse and I feel is crazy for a few hours. The groom and groomsmen(9 groomsmen) are going to a bachelor party at a cabin and everyone is paying $140 not including food or drinks. We are trying to save money for our own wedding but the $400 for someone else’s is not helping. We didn’t know what we were getting into when he agreed to be a part of the wedding. The groom asked for gift ideas for the men and I feel like screaming how about help with the tuxes.. Am I crazy or is this normaly what is spent? I was in a wedding last summer and I bought a $100 dress I still have and for a couple drinks at the bachelorette party.. I think that’s fair.. Not spending half a months rent on your wedding..

Working with the other bridesmaids in my sister’s wedding to plan a sort of flash mob at the reception… any ideas for good songs?

MY FRIEND and his girl been together for a little over 2 years.HE wants to engage her on valentines day(i have afeeling she knows)just them alone but he wants to meke it public (meaning her family and his family)on sunday at the church they go to.HEplans on having the wedding by the end of september if evrything goes well now since theircon a budget is it all right if they have a small get together after the service at church the same day they get engage.Iheard that an engagement is not soppose to be until a month or two after the engagement but thier just having a small get together he is asking me for opinions but i am not .Any help,comments or ideas please.

My friend just got out of a really bad relationship and has wanted breast implants for a while now. I’m throwing her a New Boob Party for her new found freedom and self esteem. The only problem is I want to make it really fun and memorable but have no idea what to do. I’m good with food ideas but I want cute decorating ideas and fun games to play. I asked a question of how is the wedding of common-law married couples and got these answers:
1)If a couple have a wedding, they are no longer “common law” married
2)There is no wedding ceremony for a common-law marriage. In fact, there has been no legal paperwork filed for the wedding.
is this true?well of course I know there has been no legal paperwork filed for the wedding.but I mean that if two person want to live together as spouses and don’t do paper works for a formal wedding and they know they’ll be common-law married after some time,so can they have a wedding party where they celebrate their wedding with family and friends?
and if yes,how would be their wedding?I mean as I live in Persia and here the weddings are a bit different from european and north american countries(I mean about the cultural things about wedding party) so I don’t exactly know which things in a wedding of other countries are just for formal marriage and which you can plan for it in your own way.
mostly as I’ve seen on the tv the weddings are like this(exception of those who just go to judge and sign paper works without having a party):for example some have a wedding party where they walk the aisle,exchange wedding bands and saying wedding vows,bride has bridesmaids and the same about groom; and then they have their party ,eating wedding cake,bride drops her bouquet and etc…
what about common-law married couples?which of these things can be in their wedding(considering if they can have a wedding party)?
anyway can they plan for their wedding party and dress up?how?
P.S:as I said I know there is no paperwork for a common-law marriage so I don’t mean a wedding ceremony with presence an official capacity or so,I mean a wedding party to celebrate the wedding with family and friends and to announce they are husband and wife.

My fiance has two sisters who he’s really close to, however, I cannot stand them. They’re twins and they’re constantly hogging the attention in the room and hanging out with my fiance sharing inside jokes and being perfectly charming without even trying. I just don’t want them in the wedding photos or standing next to me when I get married. I do not want them to be bridesmaids.
My fiance and his family would freak out if I told them, but I’m the bride so I get the final say right? Can I ban them from being my bridesmaids? I only want MY friends and MY family. Is this allowed?
