Wedding Planning Tips

I’m planning my wedding and I’m having trouble with my wedding dress. I’ve seen a dress I like, it is blush coloured, one shoulder, that is fitted and is a fishtail style.
My fiance’s family has traditions when it comes to weddings and wedding dress. Tradition has already dictated which church I’m getting married in but to be fair, I don’t think I would have picked anywhere else to get married as it means a lot to my fiance anyway.
When it comes to the wedding dress, there are certain guidelines when it comes to wedding dresses that have been followed for the last 22 family weddings, they have been set in place by my fiance’s great grandmother. They have been updated a couple times by his grandmother. These guidelines are:
Shoulders must be covered
Not straps
Must be white or ivory
No cleavage
Not tight.
Classic not modern – fish tail comes under this.
Must be floor length
No excess lace or beading
No shiny fabric
A second, different dress must be worn for the evening.
Should I follow them or go with the dress that I like?

1.) I mean WHICH ROLE would YOU play, given the chance TO BE in an adaptation of Dracula.
2.) WHY does everyone always equate Dracula with homework? God! I’m currently reading it FOR FUN!

For example, if it was normal for the bride to wear red in Western cultures, would you go with red? What color would be your number one choice for your dress and why?

I’m going to be moving to New York as soon as I’m done with all my schooling, I need to pick a career that I would get work with in nyc..
What are some jobs/careers that I could pick up pretty easy in new york..
Some jobs I was thinking of were
Wedding planner
Vet
Pharmacist/pharmasists assistant
Dietician
Real estate agent…
But anything you can think of would really help,

This is the friend I’m planning the shower for! I won’t be at the temple but I’ll be at the reception. This is he way of keeping me involved!

I just got my a.a. degree and am at a crossroads. I can’t pick a b.s. degree to go after or a career for after I receive my degree. I’ve got so many interests. I know no job will meet all these criteria but these are just the things I’d like to do or have at a “dream” job: some stress, hard deadlines, some creative freedom, computer work, lots of planning, behind the scenes activity (such as a wedding/event planner), minimum direct supervision and weekends off (I can dream!). I’m a strong writer but would prefer to not do it for a living. I’ve thought about event planning, tourism management, graphic design and even teaching but I’m just not sold on any of them.
I’d appreciate some jobs or degrees that I might not of heard of or thought to look into. Or legitimate career websites to look at, I’ve found many using google but they’re questionable.
