I am not too sure how the whole set up would work. Maybe just let everybody coming to the wedding know what the website is. We don’t have big place yet, so i don’t want to register at stores for furniture n such for the wedding shower. I am wondering if there’s a service online with a similar idea but where people can post money instead.

Our wedding is in a little over a year, I know this is a little premature, but I have a few questions about registering. Just a little about us first, we both are in our mid 20s. We have a 10 1/2 month old son. We have been living on our own for awhile now. A lot of what we have is hand me down stuff, with some new things. I want to be very practical with my registry. That being said.
What did you register for that you did not use?
What did you get that you use pretty much all the time? (other than dishes, pots and pans, towels)

I heard that JCP gives you a free wedding planner type deal when you register there, is this true? And if it is and you did use that person, good or bad experience?

I have been engaged since December and am excited to start the wedding planning. I know that bedding is seasonal, but can I start registering for things now. We are having an engagement party in October. Should we have some stuff by then?
