If you get married in a court room (basically just the bride, groom and witnesses), do you need to book the date in advance? If yes, then how far in advance?
My husband and I r planning to have a vow renewal wedding and we want to go all out this is the perfect location but idk how much it costs to rent it for a day
The wedding invitation says the rooms are a special wedding price. But when I look online I see I could get the same room for less money if I book it myself. Does the wedding planner earn a little from each room the wedding guests book? Could the bride/groom be committed to booking a certain number of rooms? Will I miss out on anything, or cause problems if I book a room myself at the same resort through a discount site? (I’m not cheap, just broke)
For the first half of my reception, I plan on wearing my wedding gown for our walk in, our first dance, cake cutting, etc. But when it comes time for him to take my garter off, I want to wear a really sexy burlesque costume/corset and do some dancing around him to get it off. Half of me wants to say, “yes invite children to show this is ONLY right when you are MARRIED” but the other half is thinking, “maybe this might influence them in the wrong way” and the OTHER half is saying “well its up to the parents”
and my conflict is, i have many friends and family members with kids who may not find a babysitter
should i put a “PARENTAL GUIDANCE RATED R” sign on the invitation and let the kids come? or should i just say no children under 12 or create a kids area?
