I am having my wedding reception in my large backyard on September 30th of this year and I really like the idea of a winter themed reception. Not a full blown winter theme- I don’t want snowflakes (other than on the cake) or winter themed favors but I really like the idea of having white and light blue for the colors and putting white and blue lights on the trees and having a cake with some snowflakes on it. The cake will look like this: http://itsapieceofcakeva.files.wordpress…
My question is, would this be really weird to have some winter themed decorations at a wedding in September? Keeping in mind that I live in PA and we just had a snowstorm in October lol
My fiancee and I are planning to get married next September and I have no clue what colors or flowers I want! There are so many option out there and we are working on a tight budget between $3,500 and $6000 so I cant afford to hire a wedding planner. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated also once I figure out my flowers and colors any suggestions on a cheap place to get invitations, centerpieces and decorations would be appreciated too I feel like I am going crazy trying to plan this.lol.
My uncle is getting married in September. It will be a fairly large event in Hollywood. I don’t have a ton of money to spend, nothing more that $100, but I need to look really good. If you could post links to dresses or shoes, or ideas on what might be good to wear, I would really appreciate it! Thanks
I live in Chicago and I can’t remember the weather here in September. I know it’s still hot here in Aug. but chilly when Halloween comes around. The wedding is going to be outside in the afternoon. So since it’s going to be outside, heels probably isn’t the best idea. Don’t wanna go sinking in the ground or get dirt and grass stuck on the heel. Maybe wedges or flats, which one sounds better?
The colors for the wedding is purple so not purple and not white because of course the bride. I don’t know if I should wear a summer dress or a more formal evening type dress. Any colors that would look good or some trends that are hot to follow this season?
It all really depends on the weather but I really need ideas now because I might not be back until the week of the wedding. So, I might have to but it way earlier. Also any hair and make up ideas or tips on other things would be great. And does it matter if you bring a sweater like does it seem less formal than a wrap? Please and Thank You.
Well my fiance and I are getting married and we decided to go with a camo theme. My dress is white with no camo in it yet… not sure if there will be. But my Fiance will have a camo vest along with the groomsmen and bridesmaids will have brown, green, or cream color not sure yet. I don’t want to go all out with the camo because too much can be a bit overwhelming a lot of camo accents. The wedding/reception will be outside in a beautiful country setting. So i’m looking for ideas- anything, decorations, center pieces, favors, dress ideas, cake, invitations, food, flowers… any ideas you want to share I like a lot of do it yourself ideas too because we are on a strict budget. Thank you
Our wedding isn’t until next September, and I have already decided on Red and Gold as our main colors. Well, gold would be the main color and red would be more of an accent along with leopard print accents. (very little leopard print, just enough to add a pattern) I feel that blue and cooler colors go better with Zebra print, so I’m trying to stay warm with the leopard print even though Sapphire is September’s stone. I absolutely LOVE Coral. So I was thinking of possibly using coral instead of a red, red. I know it’s a summer color but the wedding is before Labor day so I think we’ll still be good! Any ideas?
Feel free to add any ideas you have, change mine up, etc.

I am trying to get ideas for flowers for my wedding. I am considering dark red, orange,
and yellow with subtle touches of either
sage green, chocolate brown or dark ivory for my wedding colors. As far as my flowers
I deffinitly want some roses for the classic romantic look in addition I was thinking about incorporating sunflowers and chrysanthemums. Any suggestions or opions. Or does anyone know of any other flowers or colors that would look better. Thanks:)
My wedding date is September 24th, and we were planning on going to Jamaica and found out that is when hurricane season is, so is it a bad idea to risk it and travel to Jamaica? And if so what are some good other locations preferably not too far away, and a little exotic?
