hi im having a small spring wedding. our guest list is around 25-30 and we ARE having a registry Office wedding.
i used to be a big party person but im not anymore, and nether is my fiance. if it was up to me the reception would be skipped all together, but i know down the line that might be regretted, what would be some god ideas for a wedding reception in spring, something that isn’t just a party but also something that wont cost thousands.
btw i live in the uk.

I need a 5 oz bottle for the wedding, so we can put homemade wine for our guests as a gift. Hopefully you may know a store to buy from??

My wedding is on January 1st and I’m looking to have a reception at LUNCH time with 17 guests total. I have a wedding planner but everything she’s suggested hasn’t been open for lunch or requires more than 25 guests… Now completely desperate to find a location for the reception. A place that can provide a wedding cake would be awesome – or one that will at least let us buy one and then bring it. A private dining room would be cool but it’s not absolutely necessary.

We love Cinderella & Prince Charming, not sure if that is our theme… I have invites with them in mind
Colors are: Navy Blue, White and Hints of Gold (other colors with Navy Blue ideas too)
have the ceremony in church and go to hall for dinner only….
Live in Chicago and all ideas are needed, never did this before and really want to be Wonderful….

My fiance and I are beginning to plan our wedding, but I wanted to ask if anyone had any unique/unusual/creative ideas. We are on a VERY limited budget, and we would like it to be pretty small. We will most likely be getting married in the Spring or Summer. Does anyone have any suggestions for us? Thanks in advance!

My fiancé (22) and I (20) have been together for 5 years now and we havehad our own apartment for two years. We had to go through some very tough times together, which only made our relationship much stronger. Although we were going to wait to get married until we both finished college, we both feel like the time is right now. Last fall I was very sick and spent almost a month in the hospital. The day after I got admitted, I went into cardiac arrest for almost a minute. It apparently was very scary, and my family and friends now refer to that day as my second birthday. Since it is such a special day, my fiancé and I thought that it would be a great weeding date, however, we only have another 3 months to get everything planned out. The problem is, we don’t want a big wedding, just our closest family and friends, however, my mom was probably dreaming of a big wedding. How do we tell our families, we want to make it special, but don’t upset anyone because our plans are different than theirs. Also, do you have any ideas on how to make it a very special cute small wedding? Thanks! And please don’t try to talk us out of it, we know what we’re doing.

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow, and need a gift idea. It’s one of my husbands co-workers, and I haven’t seen him in years. All I really know about him is that he used to be a big into drinking, and hanging out at bars.
