Wedding Planning Tips

Ok, so my partner and I have been planning our wedding details, and I really need some help. I want to do a cocktail style wedding, but were doing it on a pretty tiny budget, so we want to do it more DIY than a big wedding package. I was thinking a hall or something, but we have 70 guests and everywhere either accommodates for 50 or 150+ kind of numbers. Also any thoughts self catering or hiring caterers? I’m feeling really lost about the reception and would love some ideas!!

Okay, so I am obsessed with Black Veil Brides (BVB) and I really want some t-shirts or accessories BVB related. But there’s one problem. I live in New Zealand. Any ideas on where to buy BVB things in New Zealand? Or NZ websites? Thanks. (:

so we have 2 months until we get married and I am trying my hardest to have everything planned and bought my August and all he want to do it play is stupid Video game how do I get him to help me with everything I know guy are not in to the whole planning thing but I would like some help so any ideas to get him to help would be helpful

My moms cousin( she lives at least 6 hrs away from me) has a bunch of old wedding stuff that she said I could use and that my mom wants me to use, but I don’t want to, how do I tell her that I don’t want to use it?
She has china, flowers apon flowers, and etc… Stuff that isn’t my style/taste at all.
I was planning on buying everything myself( it would be cheap but still nice looking) and then afterwards donating everything that I could to the church as a thank you since they won’t take any money for letting me use their reception hall. ( they have parties and stuff they could use everything in)
I don’t like accpeting favors( even though i would be borrowing them), I would rather buy them myself and donate them to someone who can hopefully use them later one.

I have been engaged since December and am excited to start the wedding planning. I know that bedding is seasonal, but can I start registering for things now. We are having an engagement party in October. Should we have some stuff by then?
