I am holding a charity auction night in aid of cancer research uk, we are hoping for 260-300 people to attend and have already had a few close family and friends asking for tickets, howthe venue have giving me a table plan, of where all tables are and what numbers etc but how best should go about everything? do i do a table plan like at a wedding??? or via ticket numbers???

I’ve decided to use martini glasses as table decorations for my wedding i was planning to have the cracked ice stuff dyed orange and put a tiger lily on top. I don’t know anymore my colors are ivory and chocolate brown with orange as an accent color. Any suggestions or pictures of any ideas would be helpful!! Thanks!!

I am helping plan my sis’ wedding, and I we are using a “hollywood” theme and I wanted to decorate the tables with diamond confetti. I don’t know how much to purchase since none of the websites I’ve visited have had any kind of advice or calculator to help me figure it out.

Okay, I have this cherry brown wooden dressing table in my room that is almost 25 years old. (Yes you heard it right. My parents bought it at their wedding.) This table actually covers a lot of space. I want to modify or replace it with a new one. But they are so expensive out there in stores. So how can i alter it and make it as a modern girly princess like Makeup table with light bulbs just as they show at Victoria’s Secret fashion show where all these girls Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio get ready. I don’t know how/were to place people

As I’m starting to plan my wedding seating chart, I’ve hit the total road block of what to do with the partners of groomsmen and bridesmaids?
We decided not to have parents or any family on the top table due to both set parents being divorced (which they agreed to…as in the seating plan…not the divorce!!!), which does mean we do have extra room.
But is it the norm to have partners of your bridal party on the top table when they may be very early on into their relationship or you don’t know them that well?
Thing is…I don’t want to stick them on another table on their own :/ (as they don’t know anyone else)
BUT I don’t want someone on the photographs of speeches who might not be around in a couple of years (not to sound horrible…but you know how it is!)

It’s my parents 18th anniversary and I am doing a wedding theme for their gift.
I am having a portion of their wedding cake made, and I am converting their VHS wedding video into DVD.
I went to the dollar store and picked up rose petals, rings… I made look-a-like invitations.
But I am stuck. I don’t know what else to get or how to decorate it.
I was thinking about getting flowers like their wedding but I’m not sure.
Also I have been looking up tables from wedding and they all have tealights… Should I get some of those?

If you haven’t invested in those colors, change them. Brown and turquoise were in a few years ago but are now a passed fad. Your pictures will look dated and old fashioned soon. Try a more classic color combo.
