I WAS HOPING TO HAVE A COCKTAIL MAN HOWEVER VENUE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY OTHER GOOD IDEA’S

I don’t know how/were to place people

As I’m starting to plan my wedding seating chart, I’ve hit the total road block of what to do with the partners of groomsmen and bridesmaids?
We decided not to have parents or any family on the top table due to both set parents being divorced (which they agreed to…as in the seating plan…not the divorce!!!), which does mean we do have extra room.
But is it the norm to have partners of your bridal party on the top table when they may be very early on into their relationship or you don’t know them that well?
Thing is…I don’t want to stick them on another table on their own :/ (as they don’t know anyone else)
BUT I don’t want someone on the photographs of speeches who might not be around in a couple of years (not to sound horrible…but you know how it is!)

It’s my parents 18th anniversary and I am doing a wedding theme for their gift.
I am having a portion of their wedding cake made, and I am converting their VHS wedding video into DVD.
I went to the dollar store and picked up rose petals, rings… I made look-a-like invitations.
But I am stuck. I don’t know what else to get or how to decorate it.
I was thinking about getting flowers like their wedding but I’m not sure.
Also I have been looking up tables from wedding and they all have tealights… Should I get some of those?

If you haven’t invested in those colors, change them. Brown and turquoise were in a few years ago but are now a passed fad. Your pictures will look dated and old fashioned soon. Try a more classic color combo.

My wedding is on April 14th, 2012. My colors are white and shades of pink. I need ideas for table names. I don’t have a certain theme, like its not Fairytale theme or Royal theme. Can you give me some ideas? What can I use that can be the closest to my colors since I don’t have a certain theme.
Maybe flower names? Or names of precious stones? Can anyone suggest some thing unique?

My fiance and I are really wanting to go with a “theme” for our wedding. We were considering a movie/hollywood glamor theme because it would give that “fun time” feel we are looking for and it would kind of personalize our wedding to something that we enjoy. We were looking into have a few big decorations that would go along with our theme and just do small simple, yet fun table centerpieces.
We were looking into doing some big floor pieces that would go along with our theme. In the process for looking, we came across the idea of prom theme decorations that we thought would suit our theme very well….
Does this sound to “high-school” to use prom props for our wedding?

I’d like to add cute little facts to our table numbers for our wedding.
For example “7 is for the number of years we’ve been together”
But im having trouble coming up with ideas….any help?

A very good and not-often-asked question. Traditionally, the bride and groom’s parents sit at the same reception table, sometimes with the officiant and his or her spouse (if they attend the reception) or with your grandparents. But some couples arrange for two parent reception tables, so that each set of parents can sit with more of their honored friends and relatives. You might also choose separate parent tables if your parents don’t get along especially well, or if they’ve never met before and you don’t want them to feel awkward (of course, depending on your parents, sitting together at your wedding might be a great introduction). If either of your parents is divorced, you’ll probably want to have each parent and his or her spouse host their own table.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated, i’ve looked on google etc just wondering if any one else has any other ideas. Our colour theme is royal blue and silver, we’re thinking of going with modern bubble bowl floral center pieces with mirror plates, then i was thinking of silver scatter crystals or blue petal confetti or something…i like the idea of candles but some places are funny with open candles etc. Any other ideas to tie in with theme??
