Hey, this is kind of an embarrassing question, but I am getting married in June, and I gained a little weight when I got my IUD put in, and I have some stretch marks on my arm, they arent noticable, but at times they are, do you have any ideas on how to cover it up when wearing a wedding dress? We are getting married in May 2012 & we plan to have a reception back home for all of our friends and family.. We would like a Vegas themed reception. I was thinking about taking lots of pictures and using them as a slideshow to make it feel as if our guests were actually there .. Also , our colors are black/red/white. I’m trying to come up with ideas as to party favors, center pieces, and any other ideas that anyone has. I’ve never been to a wedding reception so any insight would be great. We were planning to get poker tables and black jack tabels for our guests to gamble a little bit and have some fun.

My fiancé and I are feeling a little stresses and fighting a lot.. Here’s the problem.. One of his friends is getting married this summer and I feel like he’s asking to too much. The tuxes he chose happen the be $200 a piece which happens to be one of the most expensive at men’s warehouse and I feel is crazy for a few hours. The groom and groomsmen(9 groomsmen) are going to a bachelor party at a cabin and everyone is paying $140 not including food or drinks. We are trying to save money for our own wedding but the $400 for someone else’s is not helping. We didn’t know what we were getting into when he agreed to be a part of the wedding. The groom asked for gift ideas for the men and I feel like screaming how about help with the tuxes.. Am I crazy or is this normaly what is spent? I was in a wedding last summer and I bought a $100 dress I still have and for a couple drinks at the bachelorette party.. I think that’s fair.. Not spending half a months rent on your wedding..
I am having my wedding reception in my large backyard on September 30th of this year and I really like the idea of a winter themed reception. Not a full blown winter theme- I don’t want snowflakes (other than on the cake) or winter themed favors but I really like the idea of having white and light blue for the colors and putting white and blue lights on the trees and having a cake with some snowflakes on it. I don’t listen to country and I want diverse music to appeal to all audiences. My fiance’s family listens to country music and I’m not familiar with it. What are some good songs that would make his mom cry from how beautiful everything is?
